My current personal project, ‘An Orkney Tapestry’, contains individual works in progress that focus on Orkney culture, traditions and contemporary life. They are visual investigations, an inquiring look into the small details of an event. I’m interested in mixing the old with the new. They are very much sketches, from which I hope to create a larger, perhaps feature length project.
