Congratulations to ECA MFA student Jane McAllister. Her film, ‘Caretaker for the Lord‘ has won the President’s Award for best student film at Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Raleigh Durham, North Carolina.
‘An aging congregation clings on to a run-down Church in Glasgow. With line-dancing and yoga on one side and solemn worship on the other, the Caretaker and Minister battle over space and souls’.
I mentored Jane and her film for a period last year and am very much looking forward to her project this year, co-directing with fellow ECA student Mariana Oliva.
